New Delhi: Congress has intensified its grassroots outreach to strengthen party organization ahead of key state elections. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi urged district Congress chiefs to focus on unity and preparation.
Rahul Gandhi emphasized the crucial role of district Congress committee (DCC) presidents. “They are the foundation of the party. Without them, Congress cannot thrive. Our fight is not just against RSS-BJP but for an inclusive India where every citizen has the right to dream and achieve,” he stated in a WhatsApp post.
Kharge instructed DCC leaders to prioritize Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu assembly elections. The meeting followed the 2022 Udaipur Chintan Shivir resolution to strengthen DCCs and set the tone for the upcoming AICC session on April 8-9.
