NR Health & Fitness Club has launched its latest branch in Thetford and business owner Nathan Gostling claims it is the best his team has created so far.
Mr Gostling worked a 24-hour day before the launch, with fire doors being installed at 3am to ensure the gym could open on time.

“We had plumbers in to install toilets and we had created a lot of dust from the building works, so it has been one big clean-up job,” he said.
“We took possession a few days earlier than we were meant to and had a six-week build time from scratch.

“It’s probably been our biggest project to date.”
The gym is located along Riverside Walk at the site of a former Argos store.

“We have put on an offer for people to sign up and get April for free which brought in 1,100 sign-ups, our biggest ever presale,” Mr Gostling said.
“It’s the best we’ve ever done. I’m really pleased that the Thetford community has responded so well and has been so welcoming.

“We’d been looking for a location in Thetford for three to four years, so to see it be a success has helped us to build our confidence.”
NR Health & Fitness opened its first gym in Wymondham in 2017 and also has locations in Attleborough, Watton, Great Yarmouth, Dereham and Lowestoft.

The work on the Thetford location is not quite finished with a sauna being installed in the coming weeks.
“Now it’s just about really fine-tuning the service we deliver to Thetford,” Mr Gostling added. “It’s been an incredible journey and I’m so proud of the whole senior management team.
“It’s the first time I’ve not managed the marketing and the build, so to see other people that know what we want to achieve as a business and can deliver it is really inspiring.”
