He was found hanged in his hostel room on the university campus.According to police, the room was locked from the inside and when he failed to respond to repeated knocks, the hostel warden peeked in from the window and saw Patel hanging from the ceiling fan.Waghodia police sub-inspector D R Desai said Patel allegedly used a bedsheet to hang himself. No suicide note was recovered. His mobile phone has been sent for forensic analysis.An unnatural death report has been registered and a probe is underway to ascertain the reason for the extreme step, the official said.
